SOLUTION: In the photovoltaic element where at least a semiconductor layer 102 and a transparent electrode layer 103 are successively laminated and formed on a substrate 101, the specific resistance of a side in contact with the semiconductor layer 102 of the transparent electrode layer 103 is smaller than that of the other regions.
