PARALLEL COMPUTER SYSTEM AND START PROCESSING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parallel computer system and a start processing method therefor, with which start processing can be surely executed in a short time and reliability is improved. SOLUTION: Plural processors 10 are connected through a network 30. Besides, a service processor 20 is connected to each of processors 10 by a communication path 40 for diagnosis. A processor diagnosing circuit 14 diagnoses the state the each of processors 10 and in the case of abnormality in start processing, it is reported to the service processor 20. After start processing of a system is started, the service processor 20 disconnects the processor, with which abnormality is detected by the processor diagnosing circuit 14, from the network and performs start processing of the system.
