Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of separating an intermediate transfer belt from an image carrier without damaging the intermediate transfer belt in the image forming device of a so-called tandem type provided with the plural image carriers and the intermediate transfer belt. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a withdrawing means 07 for withdrawing a belt module 04 including a secondary transfer module 06 so as to separate a belt-like intermediate transfer body 02 from all the image carriers 01A, 01B, 01C and 01D.
