DETERGENCY-REINFORCING AGENT COMPOSITION FOR LAUNDRY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergency-reinforcing agent composition which mainly comprises a specific polymer compound and a silicone, is added to a detergent stock tank of a continuous laundry machine when used, and can reduce the amount of water used and to provide a method for reinforcing the detergency. SOLUTION: This composition contains (a) 1-20 wt.% nonionic polymer compound comprising alkylene terephthalate units and/or alkylene isophthalate units and polyoxyalkylene units and having a wt. average mol.wt. of 2,000-35,000 and (b) 0.01-5 wt.% silicone. In the method for reinforcing detergency for laundry, the composition is added to a detergent stock tank of a continuous laundry machine. A method of cleaning for textile products with a continuous laundry machine is provided which comprises adding the composition to a detergent stock tank of the machine and keeping the pH of a cleaning liquid in the cleaning process at 10.0 or lower.
