APPARATUS FOR BATCH PRODUCTION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYMER AND METHOD FOR SUCCESSIVELY PRODUCING LIQUID CRYSTAL POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a die when discharging a polymer formed at the next batch, and improve the quality, yield and productivity of the polymer by preventing a remaining polymer of a former batch from deteriorating. SOLUTION: This apparatus for batch production of the liquid crystal polymer is characterized by a reaction vessel having a discharging opening at the lower part, and for forming the liquid crystal polymer, a gas-pressurizing means attached to the reaction vessel and for pressurizing and discharging the polymer by nitrogen gas, a die head having a discharging valve for opening and closing the discharging opening at one terminal part, an inner chamber formed at the intermediate part, communicated with the discharging opening, and heated and regulated from the outer periphery, and an opening formed at the other terminal part and forming the end part of the inner chamber, an opening and closing valve joined to the other terminal part of the die head, and capable of opening and closing the opening, and a die plate attached to the valve opening of the opening and closing valve, possessed thereby. The method for successively producing the polymer comprises a specific operation by using the apparatus.
