SOLUTION: This intermediate for producing a substituted thiophene derivative of general formula (1) [Q is H, methyl, trifluoromethyl, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, methoxy, methylthio, methylsulfoxy, methylsulfonyl, cyano, acetyl, nitro, alkoxycarbonyl or amino; R is a straight-chain or branched chain alkyl group, a halogenoalkyl group, an alkenyl group, a halogenoalkenyl group, an alkylthioalkyl group, an alkyloxyalkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a halogeno- substituted cycloalkyl group or a phenyl group which may be substituted with 1-3 substituents; and R and NHCOAr are mutually adjoined].
