Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for a battery easily openable and closeable, with reduced facility cost and running cost for manufacturing, allowing easy battery exchange, in a battery case for a forklift. SOLUTION: This cover is constituted of an upper cover 3 which has an almost planar shape to cover a battery case 2 mounted on to forklift and is formed to be narrower than the width of the battery case 2 and a side cover 4. The side cover 4 is formed so as to cover a side part of the battery case 2 and so as to cover an upper edge part by extending to an upper surface, is provided with a rear part positioning pin 43 to be inserted into a pin insertion hole 50 on a vehicle body side of a front part of a weight 5 and a lower positioning pin 44 to be inserted into a pin insertion hole 51 of a vehicle body floor part for the positioning at the time of attaching and detaching and is fixed to the vehicle body bolts.
