PIVOT STURUCTURE OF MIRROR FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pivot structure of a mirror for a vehicle capable of securely maintaining a mirror for a vehicle at a desired inclination angle for sufficiently suppressing chattering of the mirror caused by vibration and reducing a production cost because of a simple construction. SOLUTION: As a connection holding means 1 which presses a pivot 2 of a mirror holder 11 against a support part 3 of a housing 12 to hold them in a slid able connection condition, a shaft 4 protruding from the housing 12 and a fitting part 5 protruding from the mirror holder 11 are arranged in the pivot 2. The shaft 4 includes a globular head 4-1 at its tip and an sinner surface 5a of the fitting part 5 is formed in a spherical shape corresponding to the head 4-1 of the shaft 4 elastic expansion to fit to the head 4-1 of the shaft 4.
