COIN RICE POLISHER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin rice polisher which is capable of certainly polishing rice grains without grain clogging and keeping whiteness to the liking of a user, even when unhulled rice is a rice containing a high percentage of water or a rice containing a low percentage of water as a non-standard water content unhulled rice, and presenting objective rice taste data simultaneously with the completion of a rice polishing process. SOLUTION: This coin rice polisher is equipped with an unhulled rice conveying device 2 communicating with an unhulled rice loading hopper 1, a stone sorting device 3, a polishing device 4, a white-polished rice storage tank 5 and a control device which controls the described devices. In addition, the coin rice polisher automatically performs the rice polishing process to a varying degree of white polishing according to operating information pertaining to a plurality of whiteness switches 7 installed on a control panel 6. In this polisher, a water content measuring device 8 is provided which measures the water content of the unhulled rice in an unhulled rice conveying path. Further, the control device corrects the polished rice resisting force of the rice polishing device 4, based on the obtained water content data and controls the influence of the water content upon the degree of white polishing so that it is negated.
