HOLDER FOR FISHING ROD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing rod holder which can simply hold a fishing rod around the body of a fisherman, ensure safety at a fishing place and simplify the exchange of a bait. SOLUTION: This fishing rod holder that is used for holding a fishing rod at a constant position and is provided with a bottomed cylinder 1 into which the butt side of the fishing rod is inserted and with a band 7 for fixing the cylinder to the body of a fisherman. Therein, the length of the cylinder can be changed and suitably adjusted in response to the length of the fishing rod. The fishing rod holder permits a fisherman to exchange a bait in a state that the fishing rod is stood at a place around the fisherman himself. A space to place the fishing rod is not necessary. Further, the freedoms of both the hands of the fisherman can be enlarged to facilitate works for exchanging the bait and for exchanging a fishing hook and so on.
