SOLUTION: A heat exchange element 5 for gas versus gas is made, into a structure such that the same type of heat exchange segments are stacked, and besides one gas passage 4a and the other gas passage 4b made in the direction orthogonal to it are supplied with gas to perform heat exchange. What is more, the heat exchange segment is constituted by fixing plural sheets of hollow resinous spacers 2 in the shape of a flat ellipses to one side each of the heat exchange sheets 3.
