Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production process for gasoline having an improved octane value. SOLUTION: This process comprises the step of bringing a charged raw material into contact with a noble metal catalyst in a hydrogenation and isomerization zone 7; the step of separating the effluent from the foregoing step into a gasoline fraction 15, an intermediate fraction 16, and a residue 17 in a normal-pressure distillation tower 12; the step of separating the gasoline fraction 15 into an effluent containing isoparaffin and an effluent containing n-paraffin in an isoparaffin separation zone 32; the step of bringing the effluent containing n-paraffin into contact with a catalyst containing a hydrogenation and dehydrogenation metal and an acidic solid in the presence of hydrogen in a paraffin isomerization zone 35 to give an effluent containing isoparaffin; and the step of bringing the residue into contact with a catalyst containing a molecular sieve in a catalytic paraffin removal zone 18.
