PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably display an image which makes the contents of all or a portion of moving image easily graspable at a glance. SOLUTION: One or more of objects which appear in all or a portion of original moving image are extracted and related information formed between the objects is obtained. The information includes information that regulates interaction among objects such as objects A and B are conducting conversation. Then, based on the appearing timing of each object and the related information among the objects, display position of each object is determined and an image in which each object is rarranged is synthesized. In the synthesized image, since the related information among the objects are indicated clearly or suggestively, by glancing at the synthesized image, the contents of the original image can be understood to a certain extent. In other words, a viewer easily comprehends the mage compared with the frame in which the original moving image is extracted as it is.
