Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device for fingerprint recognition in which an electrostatic withstand voltage is improved when a finger or the like comes into contact with the device. SOLUTION: This semiconductor device is provided with a plurality of electrodes 2 storing electrostatic charges, a protective film 3 covering the electrodes 2, and a plurality of semiconductor elements which are formed below the electrodes and read the charges stored in the respective electrodes. At positions parallel with the electrodes 2, wiring 301 for erasing static electricity which is electrically independent from the electrodes 2 and thicker than them is disposed.
