Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a rigid hardened body from any of various inorganic powdery-grainy materials each containing at least silica. SOLUTION: This production process comprises subjecting a powdery-grainy material that has a =4 wt.% calcium compound content expressed in terms of CaO and also contains silica, or another powdery-grainy material obtained by adding a calcium salt to a powdery-grainy material that has a =4 wt.% calcium compound content (expressed in terms of CaO) of the resulting powdery-grainy material, each in the form of a water-containing material, into a formed body, and subjecting the formed body to hydrothermal treatment.
