Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer controller which eliminates the need to provide buffer areas for every end point and can miniaturize a chip by decreasing the number of gates. SOLUTION: A buffer 9 which sends and receives data in packet form to and from a PC 1 is composed of a single buffer used in common for the end points EP0 to EP2. A USB control part 8 decides whether or not there is data in the buffer 9 by referring to a register 10 and controls data transfer with the PC 1 according to the result. A CPU 5 decides whether or not there is data in the buffer 9 by referring to the register 10 and controls the acquisition of data from the buffer 9 or the storage of data in the buffer 9 according to the result. |
