Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing agent for plastic film liquid crystal device having excellent characteristics such as good workability, excellent adhesion strength with a plastic film substrate, follow-up property to the thermal changes of the substrate, good physical and chemical stability against the liquid crystal, moisture, heat or the like, and ability to prevent blotting during hardening, and to provide a liquid crystal display device using that agent. SOLUTION: The sealing agent for plastic film liquid crystal device features that at least two components selected from the group consisting of an epoxy resin, hardening agent, fillers and additives are compounds having carbonyl groups. The liquid crystal display element uses that sealing agent.
