HORIZONTAL MUNTIN TYPE HANDRAIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal muntin type handrail satisfactorily keeping a ventilation property, securing a shielding effect from the outside, preventing children from climbing up horizontal muntins, securing safety, reducing the manufacturing man-hours and the manufacturing cost, having a good external appearance, and excellent in decorative design property. SOLUTION: A plurality of horizontal muntins extending in the direction perpendicular to a plurality of supports are fitted to the supports fitted with a coping at the upper end in lines in the height direction of the supports to form this horizontal muntin type handrail. A back member fixed to the supports and a surface member fitted to the back member are coupled together with the coupling sections provided on both members pressed in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the horizontal muntin to form a hollow body for each horizontal muntin. The horizontal muntins are fitted to the supports at gaps of a fixed quantity or below in the height direction.
