EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE PREDICTIVE SYSTEM FOR ELEVATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly recognize a generation state of damage in an elevator when an earthquake occurs, regarding a safety system of the elevator in the earthquake. SOLUTION: A regional distribution (earth motion distribution) for intensity of quake in an earthquake is recorded corresponding to an earthquake center position/magnitude of the earthquake at the time, an estimation of the earth motion distribution is performed by using a record near the earthquake center position when the earthquake occurs, a damage state for each elevator is not required to be investigated by using a communication means when the earthquake occurs by using a predictive means for predicting damage of the elevator and thereby the whole aspect of the damage state can be instantaneously recognized and an instruction for quick and efficient restoring work can be performed.
