Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an undesirable flaw such as wrinkles, perforation or delamination by improving the compaction of a preform varied in its thickness. SOLUTION: A caul 24 is used in an autoclave method and first and second opposed sides 12h, 12j and the composite multiply preform 12 varied in thickness between both sides are compacted to form a gas turbine fan moving blade. A main body 24k is contained in the caul 24 and has fibers 14 arranged in a matrix 16. The caul is complementary in shape with respect to the first side 12h of the preform 12 and has deflection properties in bending varied over the whole of the main body and the compaction of the preform is changed corresponding thereto. The second side 12j of the preform 12 is shaped by the bottom mold 22 in an autoclave chamber 20.
