Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel base in which weight reduction is possible while ensuring superior strength and coping with an unevenness of a floor surface is enabled easily. SOLUTION: This channel base is used for installing equipment board for distribution of electrical energy like a self-support switchboard on a floor surface F. Installation members 4 are arranged along the lower part periphery of an equipment board main body 10. The installation member 4 has an installation part 5 to the floor surface F and a fixing part 6 to the equipment board man body 10, inside a skirt part 2 formed by using a steel plate having a specified thickness, and is made of a steel plate thicker than the skirt part 2.
