METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING SEGMENTATION TAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a segmentation tag processing system for reducing artifacts which are generated by classification errors or due to a sudden change in a picture classification. SOLUTION: This segmentation tag processing system includes a close analysis module 54 connected to receive the segmentation tag and generate close block tag prediction, a transition analysis module 56 connected to receive the segmentation tag and to generate transition block tag prediction and a tag cleaning module 58, connected to receive close block tag prediction and transition block tag prediction and to change the segmentation tag which is selected based on close block tag prediction and transition block tag prediction.
