Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cartridge type oil supply tank which does not shake nor tilt through reaction to full opening of the base part, i.e., a cover. SOLUTION: The cartridge type oil supply tank comprises an oil inlet 2 opening to the upper surface of a tank body 1, a base part 7 opening/closing freely about a shaft 23 and urged by a resilient member 25 in the opening direction, an oil inlet cap 6 having an oil supply valve 8 disposed at the base part 7, and a stop means 26 for bringing the oil inlet 2 and the oil inlet cap 6 into tight contact and keeping or releasing the tight contact state wherein the base part 7 is turned about the shaft 23 by means of the resilient member 25 when the stop means 26 is released. Since a damper means 35 for limiting the turning speed of the base part 7 is provided, the oil supply tank 1 does not shake nor tilt.
