Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking mechanism of a cylinder unit for a stencil printer capable of easily confirming the locking state of the unit. SOLUTION: The cylinder unit 30 is position switchably mounted between a printing position and an inspecting position by a guiding mechanism 36 in a frame 24 of the stencil printer. A pair of right and left locking pins 42a, 42b are provided in the frame 24, and the locking mechanism 43 having automatic and manual locking mechanisms 44, 45 and an unlocking mechanism 46 is mounted at a support member 33 of the unit 30 side. When the unit 30 is pushed to the printing position, the automatic locking lever 51 of the mechanism 44 is automatically locked to the pin 42a. When a manual locking lever 61 of the mechanism 45 is operated in this state, the locking recess 61a of the lever 61 is engaged with the pin 42b to easily confirm the switching of the locking state.
