SOLID INK JET PLATE PRESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cleaning operability and to improve printing quality in cleaning an electrostatic chuck plate of a paper fastening unit for a solid ink jet plate press. SOLUTION: In the solid ink jet plate press, a protective film 8 is provided on an electrostatic chuck plate 7 of a paper fastening unit 1. After printing is finished, an arm 2 is moved to a lowermost part, and a printing unit 1 is moved to a left side as seen from the front surface of the press of the unit 1. Further, when three covers are opened, no obstacle is existed on the front surface and the upper part of the plate 7. Since the film 8 is white and an ink ejected from the unit 1 is black, when the film 8 is erroneously printed, the erroneous print is easily discovered. When only the film 8 on the plate 7 is replaced, cleaning is facilitated.
