Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating organic waste liquids which reduces the volume of excess sludge, improves its characteristics and can shorten the time required for a biological treatment in the biological treatment of the organic waste liquids. SOLUTION: This method for treating the organic waste liquids has a biological treatment stage for subjecting the waste water containing organic matter to the biological treatment, a solid-liquid separation stage for separating the waste water flowing out of the biological treatment stage to the excess sludge and treated water and a solubilizing treatment stage for subjecting the excess sludge separated by the solid-liquid separation stage to a solubilizing treatment. At least part of the excess sludge discharged from the solid-liquid separation stage is returned to the biological treatment stage and the downstream side of the solid-liquid separation stage is provided with the solubilizing treatment stage. After the other part of the excess sludge is subjected to the solubilizing treatment, the excess sludge is fed dividedly in several steps from the upstream side to the downstream side of the biological treatment stage.
