LNEADING DEVICE AND KNEADING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneading device which is capable of setting inflow pressure drop suitable for a kneading material. SOLUTION: This kneading device 1 has a kneading chamber body 2 formed with a kneading chamber 6 having a material supply port 2a at one end and a material discharge port 2b at the other end, a material supply means 3 disposed on the material supply port 2a side of the kneading chamber 6 is order to supply the material and a material temperature adjusting means 5 for adjusting the material temperature in the kneading chamber. The kneading chamber 6 is an annular and cylindrical kneading chamber 6 formed with plural annular spaces 6a, 6b, 6d, 6e and 6e continuously in an axial direction an a same axis 0. The large annular spaces 6a, 6c and 6e having the maximum cross-sectional area S1 with respect to the cross section cut at a plane perpendicular to flow direction of the material and the annular slit spaces 6b, 6d and 6f having the minimum cross-sectional area S2 are formed alternately continuously therein.
