TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL TELEVISION BROADCAST AND TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional system where a charge is imposed on a user, even when the user cannot view a television broadcast program in the case that the electric field of the program is too weak or the C/N is deteriorated at the reception of a pay television broadcast. SOLUTION: A storage section of a reception terminal stores data of a pay broadcast program, an error is detected from the stored data, and when the error is detected, the data are again stored and a program viewer is not guided before the error is completely eliminated. Then the viewer views the broadcast program stored selectively from the program guide information. Since the data of the stored pay program are not given to the viewer before the error is completely eliminated, a fault due to the disturbance of the video and audio data resulting from a data error caused by a noise in the transmission line system or a weak electric field during viewing can be eliminated.
