Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system for structural member with which strength and a gap between a peripheral component are simultaneously required concerning a structural member having at least one support part and a beam part linked to this support part. SOLUTION: The form and dimension of each support part, the positional coordinate of each support part, the gap required between the peripheral component of the structural member and the structural member, external force applied to each support part and the allowable strength of the structural member are inputted (1), the strength is calculated while finding the route of the beam part and the cross-sectional form and it is calculated the strength of the structural member is within an allowable strength and there is a gap more than needed between the structural member and the peripheral component (2). Then, the design data of the structural member are outputted (3).
