Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid interrupting device enabling highly reliable remote interrupting control and a remote interrupting system using it. SOLUTION: The system includes a plurality of governor chambers 102 and a central monitoring portion 101 capable of two-way communication with the governor chambers 102. The central monitoring portion 101 monitors the condition of disaster in each block and transmits a remote interruption command selectively to each governor chamber 102. In each governor chamber 102, a communication device 10 determines whether the communication of the remote interruption command is true or false, after which, based on earthquake information sent from an SI sensor 14 and a mechanical earthquake sensor 15, a signal control device 11 opens a gate only when governor interruption is surely required, thus receiving a remote interruption signal and checking a sequence (ciphers) for final determination as to whether or not the command is true or false. When the command signal indicates true ciphers, the signal control device 11 executes forced interruption of the governor via the SI unit 12.
