Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect lead at any position in an intank canister system. SOLUTION: In a canister 2 disposed in a fuel tank 1, a vaporized fuel introducing passage 7 from a vaporized fuel introducing port 8 inside the fuel tank 1 through a check valve 10, a fresh air introducing passage 21 from a fresh air introducing port 22 outside the fuel tank 1, and a purge passage 23 to discharge vaporized fuel in the canister 2 with fresh air through a purge control valve 24 to an intake pipe 25 are connected. A three-way selector valve 30 is provided on the purge passage 23, so by changing it, the side of the fuel tank 1 (the vaporized fuel introducing port 8) can be communicated with the side of the purge control valve 24. After setting the inside of the fuel tank 2 at negative pressure while keeping the inside of the canister 2 at atmospheric pressure by changing the three-way selector valve 30, leak diagnosis is conducted based on pressure change in the fuel tank 1 after the purge control valve 24 is closed. |
