MAGNET CATCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet catch having constitution in which metal powder is not scattered when an attraction piece installed to a moving member and a magnetic piece mounted on a fixing member are brought near or detached. SOLUTION: In the magnet catch 1, the front ends of the pieces 3, 4 of iron are arranged into the notched section 7 of a case 2, and end faces 5, 6 formed on both sides of the notched section 7 are projected from the positions of the front ends of the pieces 3, 4 of iron. The pieces 3, 4 of iron are magnetized by a magnet arranged into the case 2, and an attraction piece 12 installed to a moving member is attracted. When the moving member is brought near to the magnet catch 1, the movement of the attraction piece 12 is prevented by the end faces 5, 6, and the attraction piece 12 and the pieces 3, 4 of iron are not brought into contact directly.
