Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrolyzing method accompanying isomerization of a stereoisomer in production of a carboxylic acid by hydrolysis of an alicyclic nitrile. SOLUTION: A bicyclo[2,2,1]-dicyano-heptane composition is hydrolyzed in an aqueous alkali solution, successively neutralized with an acid, filtered and taken out to provide the objective bicyclo[2,2,1]heptane-dicarboxylic acid composition in which an exo or endo isomer is isomerized into a diexo isomer.
