TEMPORARY SCAFFOLD WITH SAFETY HANDRAIL, AND SAFETY HANDRAIL PROVIDED ON TEMPORARY SCAFFOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an innovative temporary scaffold having a safety handrail allowing workers to safely climb onto a scaffold plate and construct a scaffold structure on the scaffold plate, by forming an arrangement having a handrail which can be mounted near the climbing ladder part of the scaffold structure, and provide a safety handrail which can be easily attached to any existing temporary scaffold to assure safety in climbing up and down the ladder part and in performing operations on the scaffold plate. SOLUTION: Four side frame members 1, at least one of which has a climbing ladder part 2, are assembled into a rectangular shape, and a scaffold plate 3 is erected on top of this rectangular built-up frame to form a scaffold structure 4. In a temporary scaffold A comprising a plurality of scaffold structures 4 stacked one atop another to attain a predetermined height, a handrail element 6 is freely detachably provided via an attaching mechanism part 7, in a position where a worker 5 climbing up the climbing ladder part 2 can grip the handrail element 6 and where the handrail element 6 projects upwardly beyond the scaffold plate 3.
