PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip, of which the main body is surely pulled forward out of a pressing cover at the slidingly pulling-back operation of the pressing cover from the state that a document or the like is pinched. SOLUTION: This chip has an elastic clip main body 1, in which a pair of pressing claws 5 and 5 formed by bending inwards the tips of an upper and a lower pinching pieces 4 and 4 extending divergently from both the ends of a bending part 3 towards the bending part 3, and an upper and a lower pressing pieces 7 and 7 extending from both the ends of a bending part 9. By providing engaging parts 6 engaging with paper surfaces b at the slidingly putting bask of a pressing cover 2 at the pressing claws 5 and 5 of the clip main body 1 of a clip A consisting of the elastic pressing cover 2 slidingly installed back and forth to the clip main body 1 through the engagement of the tips of the pressing pieces 7 with the upper and lower parts near the bending part 3 of the clip main body 1, the clip main body 1 is pulled out of the pressing cover 2 when the pressing cover 2 is slidingly pulled back backwards irrespective of the surface b of paper such as coarse surface, mirror-finished surface or the like, which is different from one another due to the quality of material or the like of a document B or the like.
