TOOL AND METHOD FOR CAULKING COUPLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking coupling tool to achieve the appropriate caulking coupling. SOLUTION: A movable support member 7 which is displaceable in the axial direction of a rotary press shaft 100 by a predetermined quantity is mounted on a body 3 fitted to the rotary press shaft 100, a roller pedestal member 15 is mounted thereon movably in the radial direction of the rotary press shaft 100, and a caulking roller 19 is rotatably fitted. The body 3, the movable support member 7 and the roller pedestal member 15 are pivotably connected to each other by a link member 25 to drive the roller pedestal member 15 in the radial direction by the movement in the approaching direction of the body 3 to the movable support member 7. A stopper member 23 to regulate the maximum movement position inwardly in the radial direction of the roller pedestal member 15 is fixed to the movable support member 7. A holding member 39 abutted on a non-caulking deformation part of a fixed work is mounted on the movable support member 7 in a displaceable manner by a predetermined quantity in the axial direction, and the holding member 39 is urged in the direction away from the movable support member 7 by an absorbing spring 41.
