SOLUTION: In this optical inter-satellite communication system which has a transmission element including a TX laser and an optical modulator for transmitting a modulated laser beam in a transmitter terminal, the transmission element respectively has analog devices (5, 7, 8, 9 and 10) and digital devices (11, 13 and 14), and these devices can be connected selectively to the optical modulator (2) via a changeover switch (4) in the transmitter terminal.
