POINTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device which can be made easy to store and carry by decreasing the volume of a mouse. SOLUTION: This computer mouse 10 can be adjusted between 1st operable constitution 32 and 2nd volume-reduced storage constitution 34. In one style of this invention, the cover part of the computer mouse moved between an extension position and a draw-in position. In another style, the mouse is equipped with a lever which moves between the operable constitution 32 at a 1st position and the 2nd storage constitution position 34 to change the constitution of the mouse. In further another style, the mouse is formed in a nearly convex shape in the operable constitution 32 by a leaf spring formed in conformity with the external shape. In furthermore another style, the mouse is folded into halves around a pivot for movement from the operable constitution 32 to the storage constitution 34.
