BARRIER OPENING/CLOSING MECHANISM USING WINDING/ REWINDING MECHANISM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier opening/closing mechanism using a winding/ rewinding mechanism for winding/rewinding of film and covering over the front of a lens, which can be driven by one motor. SOLUTION: When the power source of a focus dial 5 is turned on, the barrier opening/closing mechanism is actuated to open the barrier 2 according to output by the normal rotation of a motor. After the motor is stopped, a zoom motor is actuated and a lens starts to project to a photographing feasible position from a collapsible position. By the time a wide end position is detected, a 1st planet plate is released from a fixed position, and winding/rewinding is enabled. Then, the zoom motor is stopped and photographing preparation is completed. By turning off the power source, the lens is collapsed and the 1st planet plate is held at the fixed position, then the barrier opening/closing mechanism is actuated to close the barrier.
