Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the confirmation of installation works of a ventilating fan body and the piping of a duct, which is arranged in an attic space or the like, without employing any operating switch. SOLUTION: A ventilating fan is provided with a ventilating fan body 3, arranged on a ceiling wall surface 1 or in an attic space 2, an operating switch 5, provided on an indoor wall surface 4 to control the operation of the ventilating fan body 3, and a control unit 6, controlling the operation of the ventilating fan body 3 by a signal from the operating switch 5. The ventilating fan body 3 is provided with a main body switch 7 and when the main body switch 7 is operated, the ventilating fan body 3 is constituted so as to be operated at a capacity regardless to the operation of the operation switch 5 whereby the installation works of the ventilating fan body 3 and the piping of a duct 16 can be confirmed.
