SHEATH TUBE TYPE ADVANCING CONSTRUCTION AND THRUST TRANSMITTING DEVICE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit the thrust to an insert pipe when inserting a pipe for transporting the fluid such as water line, gas, and sewerage into a sheath pipe, and to sufficiently extend and shrink the insert pipe when an earthquake is generated. SOLUTION: This sheath pipe type advancing construction pushes an insert pipe to be connected by a fitting formed of an insertion opening and a receiver opening into an existing sheath pipe. A peripheral part of the insertion opening is provided with a thrust transmitting member for abutting on a rear end of the receiver opening so as to transmit the thrust and for slipping when a large pushing work is applied by an earthquake so as to allow the push-in of the insertion opening into the receiver opening. The insert pipe is pushed while transmitting the thrust of the insertion opening to the receiver opening through the thrust transmitting member. As the thrust transmitting member, a split ring member is wound around the insertion opening and fixed by bolts.
