DEVICE FOR REGULATING ANGLE OF OPENING OF DOOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for regulating the angle of opening of a door which is superior in buffering function and little affects the part of a rotating shaft. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a slide rail 2 provided in the upper end of a door 7, a slider 3 sliding inside the slide rail 2 and a buffer disposed between the slider 3 and a fixed-side member 9 on an upper frame of the door, a wall or the like. The buffer is a damper 4, which is extensible and contractible and of which the damping force acts only in the direction of extension, and one end of the damper is fitted rotatably to the fixed-side member 9, while the other end is fitted rotatably to the slider 3. As the door 7 opens, the slider 3 slides in the slide rail 2, and after the slider 3 comes into contact with the end of the slide rail 2, the damper 4 extends and absorbs the force of rotation. When the door 7 opens at a prescribed angle, it is set so that it does not open further, since the damper 4 is then in a state of full extension.
