Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box capable of being used for general purpose. SOLUTION: On the top of a console box body 11, a cover 13 is fitted so as to be capable of being opened and closed, and turned through a hinge mechanism 12. The hinge mechanism 12 is provided with a swivel supporter 23 capable of turning by 360 degrees around its vertical axis O1. By the swivel supporter 23, an opening and closing supporter 25 is supported so as to turn by 180 degrees around its horizontal axis O2 through a horizontal supporting pin 24. By opening and closing, and turning a cover 13, the arrangement position of the cover 13 can be changed freely, thus it is possible to use the cover 13 for general purpose.
