PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a channel interlocking device for an internet television receiver that can easily be moved to a desired channel, and to provide its method. SOLUTION: In an internet television receiver provided with a television receiver section 20 and an internet section 10 having an internet communication function, the internet section 10 is provided with a CPU that outputs a channel revision instruction and corresponding channel information to the television receiver section 2, when a web site selects a television channel and receives a current television channel member from the television receiver section to transmit the number to a web server as required and with a storage means that stores a broadcast station name and the channel number corresponding thereto under the control of the CPU. The television receiver section 20 includes a control section, that controls channel revision to the channel, in response to the channel revision instruction and the channel information outputted from the CPU and includes a remote control reception section that receives a remote control transmission signal and gives the signal to the control section.
