PRE-PAID PHONE CALLING CARD SYSTEM EXCECUTED VIA INTELLIGENT NETWORK ON THE BASIS OF SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enhanced embodiement for a pre-paid phone calling card service by using an intelligent network(IN) on the basis of a switch that automatically processes a pre-paid calling card account transaction. SOLUTION: A table that is maintained by one or some switches to connect calls stores calling card account number, corresponding PIN, account status information and others. Each switch nominally includes a service switch control point(SSCP), an outgoing call processor(OCP) and a termination call processor(TCP). In the preferable embodiment, each switch includes also an operator service system(OSS), and a telephone operation manages call processing depending on the selection of customers or when the automatic processing capability of the SSCP is backed up.
