Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reformed optical system for getting the image of a part, which can be used in the case of arranging the part on a printed circuit board, and its method. SOLUTION: This optical system has an image getting device such as, for example, a camera or the like for getting the image of a part, and a parts pickup head which holds that part and shifts it to the image getting position outside the field of view of that camera. The mirror can shift freely within the reflection surface, between the two positions of the first and second positions. In the first position, the image of the part is not reflected into the field of view of the camera, but in the second position, the image of the part is reflected into the field of view of the camera.
