Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing up structure of a battery which holds a graphite gasket 21 at a seal part between an explosion preventive valve and a cover, in a battery 10 in which a positive electrode 12, a negative electrode 13, and an electrolyte solution 15 are stored in a cylindrical case 11 having a bottom, while a cover 22 equipped with an explosion preventive valve 19 and a piercing small hole 57 for letting pressure out of the explosion preventive valve closes an open area 33 of the case. SOLUTION: Leakage of a gas between an explosion preventive valve and a cover can be prevented because a graphite gasket is narrowed. Electrons can move (be conducted) from the explosion preventive valve to the cover during charging. As a result, air-tightness of a battery can be improved, and conductivity can be maintained.
