MICROSCOPIC DEVICE SIMPLE IN OPERATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic device easy to handle and capable of being simply operated while maintaining such characteristics that the device can intuitively be operated like a joy stick. SOLUTION: This microscopic device 2 including a microscope 6 with a stage 4 for placing an object to be measured is provided with a driving mechanism 8 for driving the stage 4, a control means 10 for controlling the action of the driving mechanism 8, an image reading means 12 for reading the image data of the microscope 6, a display means 14 for displaying the image read by the image reading means 12, and a stage movement instructing means by which an observer instructs the movement of the stage. The stage movement instructing means consists of a controller/image 16 capable of setting the moving direction and the moving speed of the stage displayed by the display means 10 in a mass, and an external inputting means 18 for setting the moving direction and the moving speed of the stage.
