Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spring limit value testing machine for easily and accurately measuring a moment load. SOLUTION: This spring limit value testing machine 1 is provided with a moment load mechanism unit 4 (driving unit) applying a moment load to a long sample S (plate spring) having a spring characteristic so as to warp the sample and a displacement detection unit 37 measuring permanent distortion in the sample. The spring limit value testing machine 1 is also provided with a sample mounting shaft 32 supported freely rotationally via a bearing 31a, a fixing unit 34 (sample fixing unit) arranged in one end of the sample mounting shaft and fixing the sample, and a torque detection unit 36 arranged in the other end of the sample mounting shaft for detecting torque applied to the sample by means of the moment load mechanism unit.
