METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTING TRANSVERSELY CROSSING STRUCTURE UNDER EXISTING TRAFFIC ROAD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically reduce the deflection of pipe beams and to decrease an overburden on a transversely crossing structure when the transversely crossing structure is constructed under an existing traffic road by the pipe beam method. SOLUTION: High-strength concrete is injected into each of pipe beams 1 which are inserted into a roadbed of an existing traffic road in a plurality of ranks, and a PC steel product 3 is disposed in each pipe 1. The PC steel product 3 has its longitudinal intermediate portion reach a bottom of the pipe beam 1. On the other hand, each end of the PC steel product 3 is bent in an upper slanting direction to penetrate an upper wall of the pipe beam 1, which is then introduced to the outside of the pipe beam 1, and strained and settled at an upper portion 4 of a main girder 2 of an opening of the transversely crossing structure which supports both the ends of the pipe beam 1.
